Near East Ensemble Performance - Video Clip

Live performance at a past UCLA Spring Festival

The Ensemble performs in its entirety every year during the UCLA Spring Festival of World Music, held at the Schoenberg Auditorium, Schoenberg Hall.
An audience of three to five hundred enjoys a night of powerful music and dance, with inspiring improvisations and performances from the thirty to fifty musicians on stage that often include numerous guest artists. The accompanying video clip from a past UCLA Spring Festival features the Near East Ensemble directed by Prof. Jihad Racy, with guest percussionist Souhail Kaspar and guest dancer Sahra.
